Wardrobe Goal

Hey Loves,

How many of you have wardrobe goals? You may want to minimize what you have, start over with all new stuff, have a closet full of designer duds or just add to your current wardrobe. Me, I've decided that I want to make at least 20% of my wardrobe. I'm a self-taught designer that was blessed with a creative mind and God-given talents. I'm not a seamstress, a tailor or even an intermediate sewer, I just know how to do a little sumthin, sumthin! Most times I incorporate the help of my skillful associates and friends that has a degree in Fashion Design for items I'm not confident to make alone. Sewing is very stressful to me and I get frustrated, so I usually shy away from it, but I can sketch up something mean or style the hell out someone.

Now, I say my talents are God-given because I would have no idea how to do something, then it would come to me in a dream and I would wake up and know how to do it. For example, I never knew how to cornrow hair, one night I had a dream that I did and the next day I tried it and knew how to cornrow hair. So, my most recent dream was that I was shown how to make a Peplum Belt not knowing how to even make anything peplum. Until this past Saturday. Not only did I make not one, not two, but three and a matching necktie.

Now look at God!
