I'm a Rockstar Jeans girl now...
Okay, so I kept hearing all these raves about Old Navy's Rockstar Jeans. A couple of friends said that I need to try them as they all know my struggle of finding jeans that fit. I usually have to purchase a size or 2 up in order for jeans to fit my thighs, butt and hips, then have them tailored to fit my waist (usually having to take them in 2" - 4" at the waist). This making my jeans cost more, the purchase price and the alteration price. I usually wear jeans by designers like Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Joe Jeans, NY&CO, KUT, Vigoss and Levi, because they fit the best for my shape.
Last weekend I decided to take a trip to Old Navy and try-on a few and when I say a few it was actually several because every pair fit differently. The Rockstar Sculpt jeans are made with a better quality fabric or I should say a heavier fabric than their regular Low/Mid-rise ones. There was also a difference in pricing, the Sculpt jeans were $49.99 and the Low/Mid-rise are between $29.99 - 39.99 depending on the style, colors and designs. I lucked up on a couple pairs as they were on the clearance rack for 75% off the original price making them less than $9, because they were purchased online and returned to the store and they don't carry Tall and Petite lengths in the store I visited. So make sure you check the clearance racks first!
It seems that I fit anywhere from a size 12 to 16 in these jeans, which was very weird. I literally had to try on every style in 2 - 3 different sizes in order to find the perfect fit. My cohort that went with me gave up after finding her perfect pair and sat in amazement as I tried to find my perfect fit. She couldn't believe my struggle, but she is a believer now. The struggle is real for us curvy girls who's cute in the face, slim in the waist, fat in the ass, do you wanna...well you know the rest (Trina is the Shat).
Here's a few photo's from my trip and you can find the full video on my YouTube channel, NVMe Designs.

Low-rise Tall, my clearance rack find. Size 12

These are the Sculpt Mid-rise size 14.

I ended up purchasing 3 size 12's and 2 size 14's, so if you're curvy like me head on over to your local Old Navy to try on the Rockstar Jeans.
